An accident occurred at the just refurbished Moi Stadium when a local man was training his wife to drive the car when it veered off the training ground hitting the fence twice, damaging the fence which was erected just months ago.
The man who was instructing the lady was roughed up by fellow local instructors who demanded an explanation why he was training the lady there without their consent
The car came from inside the stadium fence, speeding through the fence then veering off road to hit the fence the second time fortunately skipping away from walking pedestriansan eyewitness said.
The man who was blamed for not obeying the instructors said that he came to train the lady and would pay for the damages.
Nobody was injured during the incident but the car was seriously damaged from the front and the side leaving the anonymous lady trainee driver shocked with little to say.
The local instructors on the other hand were very angry realizing the kind of damage an incident such as that may cause for their business entity, demanding payment of damages immediately to offset any issues that may arise forthwith.
This Moi Stadium field has always been used by budding drivers hoping to get light driving skills and experience for an affordable Ksh 50 per trip before attending legitimate driving schools
