FIRST LADY’S BEYOND ZERO CAMPAIGN

The first lady of the republic of Kenya has shown great leadership strengths in her organizing and participating in the half marathon Beyond Zero Campaign managing to complete the 21 kilometers in preparation for the 42 kilometers in London.

The Beyond Zero Campaign included events running the half marathon of 21 kilometers and another event 10 kilometer races.

The first lady Margret Kenyatta ran today to improve maternal health care and reduce the number of child mortality by providing at least 1 mobile clinics in each of the 47 counties. Her target was to complete the half marathon under 3 hours helping her achieve a moral boost for the 42 kilometer in London.

Over 6000 participants registered for the Beyond Zero campaign including tourist from different countries, cabinet secretaries, members of parliament, elite runners, businessmen and other amateur athletes.
