A trip to Nairobi allowed the Bay Hockey Club register a win against Thika Rovers beating them 3-2, Brian Otieno Scoring two goals at the 46th and 53rd minute then Oracha Shadrack completing the victory on the 48th for the lakeside boys after two successive goals from Thika Rovers goals from Albert Mbagara and Brian Nguru in the 28th and 29th minute. The lakeside boys came from behind to register a win that improved their chances of promotion to the premier next season. Elswhere the lakeside boys also collected 3-0 points when Mombasa Institute refused to honour there fixtures.
Tom Bello commenting on the development of the team said they were concentrating on winning more games to build a platform to join the big boys in the premier league.
In other matches at the Nairobi City Park Stadium Kenya college of Accountancy were thrashed 3-0 by Greensharks .John Wachira, Leon Magomere and Samuel Mucheke scoring for the Greensharks in the 29th, 46th and 63rd minutes respectively. Multimedia University women’s team recorded their first league win beating Mt Kenya University 2-0, Joan scoring in the 54th minute to give them that desired win.
