Minority Leader in the Kisumu Assembly Hon. Phillip Edwin Anayo have challenged his fellow MCAs to join hands and work towards helping deliver better services to locals of Kisumu county, hence stopping wrangles in the assembly that seems to stall every little development.
Anayo said the MCAs should welcome the court ruling that has reinstated the Speaker Anne Adul to be the assembly speaker.
The Milimani Ward representative alluded that the persistent wrangles at the assembly are hindering development of the county adding that MCAs must at this time find a working formular work in unity the dividing county residents.

The legislature said that even revenue collection for the Kisumu County has reduced tremendously as a result of persistent wrangles of the county leaders over some matters that can be solve without washing all the dirty linen in public.
The fight has coursed the county to lose a lot of millions in revenue collection which has reduced from 1 billion to 300 million and enough is enough let’s let speaker come back so she can dispense her duty we do our oversight duty, Said Hon. Philip Anayo
Speaking to Kisumu News, Anayo said the MCAs can only conduct their oversight role effectively when they are united adding that divisions and wrangles will not help archive the expectation of the electorate in the county as a whole.
Anayo has however also urged Kisumu county Governor Jack Ranguma and all elected leaders in the county to come in and bridge peace in the assembly.
Anayo said Ranguma must now intervene to foster unity in the assembly so that service delivery can be improved.
