Lupita Nyongo has done Kenya and her diaspora circle proud again winning a golden globe in front of a crowd of celebrities that included co-stars Brad Pitt, Chiwetel Ejiofor, beating her competitor Oprah Winfrey that they ware categorized with in the same award.
She won the best supporting Actress role in 12 Years a Slave on Sunday for her role as Patsey in Steve McQueen’s film which has now captured the attention of the whole world.
Miss Nyongo born Mexican, Kenyan raised actress made an emotional speech thanking her co-stars and all supporting actors and actress who made the movie 12 Years a Slave a success, mentioning but a few names Chiwetel Ejiofor as Solomon Northup, Steve McQueen and many more.
Lupita also thanked her family for all the support saying encouraging all others to keep the on there dreams.
