MANCHESTER DRAWS AS TOTTENHAM REGISTERS BIG WIN

They say football is a game of competing strategies and on a day like yesterday, Manchester United and Arsenal rivalry showcased just how safe the teams played, trying so hard not loose points given the position each club holds in the English Premier League Log.

Manchester is on seventh position with 15 points behind leaders Chelsea and Arsenal is on second position a point behind the leaders.

The top player in Rooney, Mata and Van persie could not find the net loosing early chances that could have opened up the game to provide a spectacle meanwhile arsenal on the other side were denied goals by the mere fact that De gea was on goal for the Reds.

Santa Carzola was denied twice, both times De Gea punching the ball out and salvaging a point for united, playing safe the whole time striking only when necessary.

Elsewhere Tottenham treated Newcastle to a 4-0 romping at the St Jame’s Park since 2004 cutting down the leader’s Chelsea points to seven.

Now Tottenham is in 5^th place behind Liverpool while Togo striker Adebayor is smiling all the way picking up a brace, taking his tally to nine goals in 12 appearances in all competition since Sherwood took over. Adebayor, Poulinho and Nacer Chadli made sure that Tottenham got all the three points.
