Manchester United was once again humbled in front of their home fans after failing to score a single goal during their derby match against Liverpool at the Old Trafford.
The only shot on target coming from Wayne Rooney from a Rafael pass from the wing which was perfectly saved by Liverpool’s goal keeper.
Manchester United had a terrible day in defense causing penalty after penalty one caused by Rafael which Gerard converted and another caused by Vidic after a classic pass from Henderson to Suarez and another by Jones.
Gerard was on point from the penalty spot scoring a brace and missing an opportunity to score a hat trick. Suarez later converted an easy pass and an opportunity to take them to 2nd on the table behind Chelsea.
Arsenal on the other hand proved that they were not an easy pushover to the title when they thumped Tottenham 1 – 0 from a Thomas Rosicky class in midfield.
Arsenal is now on 3rd place after Liverpool followed by a resilient Manchester City with three games at hand on Fourth then Tottenham on 5th.
