Chairman of the Board of Management of Miwani Boys Secondary School in Muhoroni Sub County Dr. Hezron McObewa says the board is committed to improving infrastructure in the school.
Mc Obewa says the construction of a new library and laboratory blocks in the school will soon be launched in July to improve the learning environment.
Dr. Mc Obewa said that Miwani Boys despite challenges it faces, continues to achieve milestones especially after it posted good results in last years’ KCSE.
He urged the school community including the parents to work hand in hand with the school management and teachers so as to achieve more.
Speaking at the school, Dr McObewa said he will engage the county government and the political class to partner in development projects that will benefit the school and the county.
This board will bring in the county government so as to work with them in the push for good quality education to our students in this county” Said Mc Obewa
He says they will continue to providing necessary support for the school especially so that the school performs better in science based subjects.
We are here as the board to provide all necessary support to our school so that we can see it grow and continue to compete with others to be one of the best schools in Kenya, said Mc Obewa.
During the prize giving ceremony at the school compound, Dr. Mc Obewa gave a laptop to the best student who attained an A grade in KCSE, three hand held tablets ( iPads) to students who got A- and KES. 100,000 in cash for the teachers for their hard work.
