The historical belief that school is the last option for budding politically ambitious candidates is not just the truth but the only truth that can explain Honorable Duale uncouth politically instigated outburst towards his political superiors.
The days when the use of good oratory skill was used as the only score card for political growth in the expense of integrity are gone. Call it primitive and compare it with those shoe and chair throwers in Migori County who decided that the President and the Governor needed to recognize them blatantly.
Hi pesa ya devolution unataka iongezwe si ya mamako… si ya babako as implied by Adan Duale
As the Majority leader representing the Jubilee Government Duale has a position to protect but the begging question is why is he trying so hard not to protect so? Why is he so self-assured of his position given the brand of leaders in their fold?
The only answer in mind is he doesn’t have to protect anything because he is meant to say what he has to say to unsettle a movement that has grown its own legs and mouth piece.
The majority of Kenyans want more money in the counties the Jubilee Government fears what a withdrawal of 8 billion for the referendum plus an added mandatory 45 percent can do to the exchequer given the mileage it would give to the Cord Coalition in preparation for 2017.
The push for the Pesa Mashinani by the governors is a good move for the counties but a bad omen for the Jubilee government having to part with 45 percent of the treasury billions meant to finance classified government projects.
So who is the enemy of the state and is there one? Is it the people, the Governor Rutto or Baba the former Prime Minister? What is the role Duale and the likes of not so honorable leaders, one Kuria playing for the ruling coalition.
These are but a few names that have been playing media mind games of late spurt after spurt spewing there well cultured manners in public (seriously) releasing video press releases, twitting and even face booking .
Not that it is a bad thing to appear on social media but that may just as well be a bad thing to appear addressing circumcision, baba or the referendum for purposes of fulfilling your political selfish interest.
The lack of regard for the law and its structures just goes to show that power in the Jubilee Government has become too much for some of our leaders the only result is to henceforth get drunk with it.
For some of us Mututho the NACADA boss is performing trying hard to un-justify irresponsible drunkenness in all manner Nyeri but the likes of some of our leaders are on the other side playing Ndombolo the Lingala ya Jubilee with the power drink provided by the current government.
We are Kenyans and are perturbed by the response Hon. William Ruto showed remaining calm as his Majority Leader scathed the Governor in his home turf, not even trying to hide his dissatisfaction with his foot soldier.
Or was the plan to bad mouth the Governor and build on his weak points hoping to get the home crowd back on his corner and exploit the political opportunities it provides?
Either way our leaders have a very big bone to chew with the givers of power who is and remains the
People of the Republic of Kenya.
