ODM has effectively today April 29th 2015 suspended Leader of Majority in the County Assembly of Kisumu Samuel Ong’ow and the Deputy Leader, read parts of the letter.
In the letter Mr. Namwamba gave stern warning to all party sponsored leaders in all counties across the country that ODM will not condone any form of misconduct and impunity.
However Kisumu County Majority leader Samuel Ong’ow on his part said that he has not received any letter about his suspension by the party.
Addressing journalists at the County Assembly premises this morning Ong’ow said that he is yet to received official communication from ODM.
Deputy Majority Leader John Olum termed the suspension as rumours and there’s nothing wrong he has done for ODM party to grant his suspension.
As far as I am concerned there’s nothing we have done. We have relayed the report to the members and put them together. But if the Acting speaker Gabriel Ochieng and Deputy Speaker Pamela Jossy are having wrangles where do I come in?, asked the furious Olum.
He added, If we defied the report, then on that ground we should be suspended, but we did our part and presented the report, had a meeting on Monday and had decision.
