A Civil Society group in Kisumu has faulted the county government for poorly rehabilitated access roads that has consumed millions of shillings. The Institute for Civic Education and Development in Africa Coordinator George Owuor said the roads recently done are in pathetic conditions.
Owuor says the quality of the roads is wanting and asked the County Executive Member of Roads Eng. Vincent Kodera to give a status report of the access roads which have been done. He said residents are paying taxes and must be provided with quality and standard work which is equivalent to their money but not doing shoddy work for the purpose of being paid.
