Taraji SACCO’s low membership deters them from ATMS. Taraji SACCO formerly Siaya Mwalimu SACCO that has approximately 3000 members will now have to work hard in a bid to woo more members to join if their dream of having an ATM machine is to come true.

He said that at the moment the Sacco will negotiate with their partner Bank, Cooperative Bank, to allow them use their SACCO color branded ATM cards.
We are in talks with the other partners like Cooperative Bank of Kenya to allow our clients use their already branded ATMs as we still pursue on how to acquire our own machine” said SACCO Chairman Ochieng.
Speaking in Siaya Township Primary School during an education day for teachers under Taraji SACCO Mr. Ochieng’ disclosed that as a long term solution Taraji SACCO is set to open several satellite offices in all Sub-Counties in Siaya County in a move to recruit more members.
