Kenya will anticipate improving on her last tour in Wellington New Zealand Sevens Series where they scooped the Bowl trophy.
They head for the 6th Leg of the HSBC Sevens World Series in Tokyo where they hope for at least a quarter final berth tomorrow, Saturday 22nd March 2014.
Kenya coached by Sevens veteran Paul Treu is in Pool B, with Treu’s former team a resilient South African side. Also, in the pool is a tricky Argentinean side.
Max Theuri makes his debut and inspirational fit again Captain Andrew Amonde makes a comeback after getting an injury before the end of the last leg.
This is a bid by the coach to build depth in the team and have as many players as possible gaining experience in the World Series.
The 7th Leg follows in a week’s time in Hong Kong.
