UNITED, ARSENAL AND CHELSEA GET WINS

Manchester United made a brief point beating West Brom Albion 3 – 0 after a rough start to the season. Jones who was in good form in defense opened the scoring with a tidy header from a clinical Van Persie free kick from the edge of the box. Ben Foster a former Manchester goalkeeper on goal was left with little to do to save the ball.

After the first goal set up by Van Persie from the free kick, Rafael lobed a cross from the right wing direct to Rooney for an easy header into the net. The third goal came from superb passing from Kagawa to Mata then Rooney finding Welbeck in the edge of the box for a lobe over the keeper towards the far corner of the net.

Arsenal on the other hand gave Everton a 4 – 1 thrashing in the F.A Cup, Ozil opening the scoring from the box after connecting well with Giroud. Arteta then followed up with a penalty and a Double from Giroud closing the day and dimming all hopes for Everton.

Everton’s striker Romelu Lukaku a former Chelsea man gave them consolation after finding space between defenders to slot there only goal of the day.

Arsenal moves to the semifinals of the F.A Cup after this win and will be eyeing silverware after missing out since 2006.

Chelsea on the other hand proved a handful for Tottenham beating them 4 – 0 to maintain a steady lead on top of the table with 66 points 7 above followers Manchester City.
